My journey into the field of psychotherapy was ignited by my own encounters with grief and loss, including the passing of my mother due to cancer, a near-death experience after childbirth, a later pregnancy loss, struggles with secondary infertility, and the impacts of attachment and generational trauma. My journey began with grappling with attachment and generational trauma, as well as navigating my grief following my mother’s death, which ultimately inspired me to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education from the University of Toronto (UofT). During my time at University of Toronto, I composed a thesis focused on grief and loss.

Following my near-death experience after childbirth, the loss of a subsequent pregnancy, and the challenges of secondary infertility, I found healing through personal therapy. As a result, this journey led me to become a grief coach, supporting others who have faced loss as they navigate their grieving process and find a way to move forward. In my desire to provide more profound support to clients, I pursued and earned a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, subsequently becoming a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

I am now pursuing my dreams of offering therapeutic support to those whose aspirations involve attaining mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

I enjoy hosting BBQs for my family and friends, gathering around the bonfire, sharing laughter, stargazing, reading, gardening, practicing yoga, painting, and playing percussion instruments.
